Getting there
- From Malpensa: by car in about an hour, or by train to Como and then bus or taxi.
- From Como: bus, taxi or ferry to the Cernobbio pier.
Cernobbio, Villa d’Este and the lake
Cernobbio’s lakefront square, the ferry pier and the start of the Via dei Monti Lariani trail are all a short walk away. Villa d’Este next door is a luxury hotel rather than a museum: the grounds are generally reserved for hotel guests and restaurant customers.
